TRIVIA CONGLOMERATION!
- This was ColdmaN5's first album as a duo since August, 2006's "Farewell, My Mujical Beef".
- The album was made under the agreement that Earthworm in Cowboy Hat would "write" all the music (in other words, gather up some loops), as CheeseCoat was busy with other projects at the time. This is why the tracks are shorter, and more straightforward, than past N5 releases.
- This was the first album in which the titles were created AFTER the track was recorded. In all previous albums, the titles would be thought-up first, with the ensuing track being written around the usually-awkward title.
- The title "Mils Wissen" was created by accident, when Earthworm got tongue-tied trying to pronounce "Miss Wilson".
- The first non-solo ColdmaN5 album to have an odd-number of tracks since "Cold as Ice", the group's first album.
- "The Dusk that Earth was Doomed" was originally featured in "Wedgewood Academy", a failed attempt at an Earthworm in Cowboy Hat solo album. Once the album was battered by CheeseCoat McTafferson, Earthworm decided never to release it. However, both members felt strongly about the track, so it was reused here in "Hard Granite".
- This would be the first album with a more "polished, mainstream" sound that the band would follow for the next few releases.
